This pattern by Cassie at the Twisted Knot Crochet is so versatile and unique!
There is also a matching mitt for the other hand, if desired.
I'm enjoying all the color combinations!
This fall I'm busy making drink mitts - perfect for tailgates, firepits, and other outdoor fall activities!

Ever since high school, I have enjoyed watching high school and college basketball games. Well, after the NCAA March Madness was cancelled, I started watching pro basketball. Hours and hours of basketball. What a great time to crochet!
I was able to make these two designs that are available for sale. Thankful Table Runner by Briana K Designs and Radiating Dragonflies Throw by Maria at Pattern Paradise During the early days of this pandemic, some crochet designers created patterns using scrap balls of yarn that we all have left over from other projects. Sheila from SheMakesCrochet, created this unique design and also made it into a "crochet along" CAL. These CALs are so fun because we are all learning the pattern at the same time and help each other to understand. Sheila has also made several videos to help us. @shemakescrochet In between other projects, I decided to try this Scrap-along Felix Blanket CAL. Going against my nature, I decided also to do the random colors. It has been challenging to unlearn some of the traditional ways of making this blanket, but, also a lot of fun interacting with other crocheters from around the world. I have finished one panel and started on the second, will probably just add the final panel for this one. I have some ideas for making some others I'd like to try. This holiday season I have been having fun making some cute gifts.
Kitchen Gnome Towel Toppers (with a removable towel) and Snowman & Santa Belly Pot Holders (with a pocket stuffed with goodies). Gnome Towel Toppers were designed by Tonya Bush of Nana's Crafty Home. Snowman and Santa Belly Pot Holders were designed by Sonya Blackstone of Blackstone's Designs. All of these have been gifted or purchased, but, I am taking orders in 2020 for the cute kitchen gnomes ($12.00 each in your choice of color). In late summer 2019, I tried my hand at making some wraps. The first one made for me and the second one for an order.
I loved the yarn Red Heart It's a Wrap Rainbow. Designs by Lisa Gentry #yarnspirations and Maria Bittner #patternparadisecrochet. After a busy spring and summer of a long kitchen renovation and several home projects, I'm finally back to a more normal routine and enjoying crocheting again!
I'm welcoming fall with these crocheted pumpkins, I used several patterns, but, the main pattern is by Yarnspirations. I learned some new techniques to make the legs and trunk of this cute elephant, an almost no-sew project. What color should I make next?

Hello!Crocheting has been my hobby for several years. In 2015 I started to sell some of my creations. It's been an interesting and fun journey and I'm thankful for this way to fill my days now that I have retired. Archives
